The County plans to open a Local Assistance Center Monday at its Vista branch library, located at 700 Eucalyptus Ave. in Vista, to help fire survivors navigate the recovery and rebuilding process.

Hours of operation are still being set.

Officials urged fire survivors to go to the fire shelters that have been set up to get short-term help finding recovery resources. Shelter information can be found at SDCountyRecovery.com.
