A guy who wished to confirm the planet is flat nearly had a deadly disaster as he propelled himself into the air in a self made steam-powered rocket. The self-taught engineer often known as “Mad” Mike Hughes propelled himself 1 ,875 feet into the air Sunday in his self-made steam operated rocket. His descent practically became devastating as the rocket headed zooming downwards at 350 miles an hour. He opened parachutes to decelerate, however crash-landed in the Mojave Desert.
