WHO:             The American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) San Diego chapter invites you to join them for their annual evening of fun and fundraising to benefit endangered species worldwide.

WHAT:           The annual Bowling for Rhinos fundraiser provides an opportunity to mingle with friends and have a fun night of bowling, all while benefiting rhino conservation. The evening also includes a silent auction, prize drawings, awards for the best-dressed bowling team, a dance-off, karaoke and far more fun than your average fundraiser!

One hundred percent of monies raised will be donated to AAZK rhino conservation efforts including the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya, the International Rhino Foundation and Action for Cheetahs. Since its inception in 1990, Bowling for Rhinos has raised more than $4 million dollars nationwide to control poaching and protect ecosystems that support rhinos and the species that share their habitat. AAZK San Diego is proud to have raised close to $200,000 of this amount.

The five species of rhino – white, black, greater one-horned, Sumatran and Javan – face a bleak future as they are poached for their horns daily.
