(Feb. 6, 2018)—Every summer Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego transforms its Tide Pool Plaza into an outdoor music venue unlike any other for The Green Flash Concert Series. These lively summer concerts, presented in partnership with 101. 5 KGB and Belly Up Entertainment, provide the ultimate Southern California music experience while supporting a good cause.
Named for the rare optical phenomenon caused by the refraction of light as the sun sets on the horizon - which is often visible during the concerts - the Green Flash concert series combines live music with panoramic ocean views, stunning sunsets and admission to Birch Aquarium.
