It was 6 years ago right here in San Diego when we were treated to shortest fireworks display ever.   It was accidentally set off 5 minutes sooner than expected and the scheduled 15 minutes display of various fireworks went off at the same time and only lasted a couple of seconds.  EVERYONE was sent home confused to what just happened.
