Join us Saturday, February 2nd for the 14th annual celebration of our local wetlands - why they matter, how they are threatened, and what you can do to help! You’ll have a unique opportunity to experience a reserve that is normally closed to the public because of its fragile habitat. There will be marsh walks, presentations by local environmental groups and other fun educational activities. If possible, bring rain boots for the marsh walk and be prepared for some muddy fun. This is a family friendly event, so bring your future conservationists too!
Please note that parking may be limited, and spill-over parking will be at Crown Point Park. Kendall-Frost is a short walk east from here.
There will be activities running at three different locations: the dirt lot next to Crown Point, the Kenall-Frost trailer, and next to the Mike Gotch bridge:
