Wrestler, actor, and reality star, John Cena paid off his bet on Wednesday at the San Diego Padre game - and he was damn happy to do so.
Awhile back, Cena met 22-year-old Logan Allen at a local restaurant and they immediately hit it off. Upon learning that Logan wanted to become a professional ball player, Cena knew how rare it was to make that dream come true. Cena wanted to encourage him by making a $1 bet that he promised to pay if Logan made the bigs.
Well, sure enough, Logan is now a San Diego Padre! He sent Cena a text about the dollar and Cena kept his promise. Logan says Cena has been almost as big a cheerleader for his career as his Mom and he really appreciates his support.
By the way, Logan tossed seven shutout innings for a Padres 4-1 win on Tuesday! Cena was at that game as well.
