It was on this day January 30, 1969 the Beatles performed for the very last time together before they officially broke up. It was the four of the them up on the roof of Abbey Road with their friend Billy Preston and a film crew. It is still an iconic moment in music history. Legend has it that on this day, they weren't too happy with each other and they were growing apart personally, professionally, and spiritually. BUT, as they walk up to the roof of Abbey Road and perform music together, they are friends forever doing what they do best and that is playing music together. Through the years, we have lost John Lennon and George Harrison and today Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr cherish the moments they had when they were all four together. The resentment, arguments, and the blame has faded away in history. The surviving family members of George and John are often seen together with Paul and Ringo. The Beatles: The greatest and most important band in HISTORY.
