The origin of this idea had been suggested by a friend on social media, where I asked friends what their favorite Halloween song ideas were, and someone suggested "Don't Fear the Reaper" by BOC. I knew immediately hearing that suggestion that I wanted to make some kind of multi-voice chanting/harmonizing to the song. I also decided that I wanted to incorporate parts from the song "Burning For You", another big hit for BOC, since that song had an amazing multi-harmony chant part in its beginning which I knew would naturally blend very well into a Blue Oyster Cult song medley. With a little thought I was able to merge the two songs in a couple different places to make this medley.
