Judge Kavanaugh Hearing and National Drink Beer Day. Coincidence?

It's not up to us to decide the outcome of Judge Brett Kavanaugh's appointment to the Supreme Court, but one thing is clear after the Senate hearing that took place on Thursday, September 27, 2018...the man likes beer!  Given that National Drink Beer Day is September 28, 2018, we can't help but wonder if it's all somehow a strange coincidence?

It's estimated that Kavanaugh referenced his beer affinity about 30 times during the hearing while he defended himself against allegations that he sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford while in high school. 

Judge Kavanaugh is not alone in his fondness for beer, 4 in 10 people drink beer more than any other alcoholic beverage in the U.S.  In 2017, the U.S. Census reported that consumers 21 and older consumed 26.9 gallons of beer and cider per person.
