The Black Crowes: Present Shake Your Money Maker tour makes its way to the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista on Friday, September 18, 2020. The tour celebrates the 30th anniversary of the band's debut album, Shake Your Money Maker and will be their first live show since 2013. Chris and Rich Robinson with their band, will have a jam-packed summer in 2020 with 46 scheduled shows running from June 17 in Austin, Texas to September 19 at the Forum in Los Angeles.
When released 1990, Shake Your Money Maker peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200. Album cuts “Jealous Again,” “Hard to Handle,” “She Talks to Angels” and “Seeing Things” all cracked the Top 10 on the Mainstream Rock chart. The Black Crowes’ next album, 1992’s The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, was just as successful at topping the Billboard 200.
Over the years, The Black Crowes released additional albums Warpaint, Before the Frost… Until the Freeze, and an acoustic collection, Croweology.
