Help No. Cal fire victims on Thursday (10/19)

Hey KGBERS,

I just found out three amazing women in my neighborhood are rallying to help victims of the Northern California Wildfires...and they need YOUR help. We in San Diego know all too well the ravages of wildfire, and we need to reach out and help all the people and animals hurting in our state.  WE UNDERSTAND THE DEVASTATION.

They will start collecting items tomorrow (10/19) at two locations: 10487 Quail Canyon Rd El Cajon  and Bond's Automotive and Collision at 7215 El Cajon Blvd.

Items needed for people are:  basic toiletries, personal hygiene, air mattresses, socks and underwear, protective face masks, cleaning supplies, reading glasses, school supplies, rubber gloves, towels, over-the-counter medications, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, shower stools, baby supplies and more.  Food nor electronics are needed.

Items needed for pets:  all animal foods...birds, cats, dogs, pigs, horses, sheep, chickens, hamsters, goats, etc.   Kitty litter, food and water bowls, cages&carriers, bedding, ointment and salve for wounds, leashes, collars, harnesses, and blankets.

All items collected will be driven up to northern California in an 18-wheeler truck, a 30 foot RV and another semi-truck.  Also cash/visa cards are appreciated for fuel costs.

Great work Lisa Bond, Nicole Walker and Rebecca Stevens.  Proud to call you neighbors!!!
