An Alabama woman's Halloween costume ended up forcing her to make an emergency visit to the dentist. Anna Tew dressed up as a zombie and bought a pair of gnarly looking teeth for $3 to finish off her undead costume. Tew used the temporary glue that came in the package and noticed that they started to become tight and uncomfortable as the night wore on.
Around 2 a.m Tew returned home and attempted to remove the fake teeth, only to find that they were stuck in her mouth. She used a pair of wire cutters to trim the fangs down but had to go to bed with the fake teeth still glued to her mouth.
The next day, Tew found a dentist who was able to see her on short notice and started work to remove the costume teeth.
“He talked about drilling. They had a saw, talked about taking them off in sections, and they couldn’t numb it because they were scared they would actually pull my teeth out,” Tew explained to WKRG. “So he went in and picked and pulled and I squealed like a baby and they got them out.”
Tew told the news station that she will never buy fake teeth again.
“I will never do it again. I will never put anything like that again in my mouth.”
