Description
Take the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future by standing with us. On March 3rd, the Beta Rho chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority at San Diego State University will host its annual Shamrock Event to raise money for the prevention of child abuse locally through Olive Crest and nationally through Prevent Child Abuse America. You can help make a difference in the lives of children by being a runner for the Shamrock Event.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 for the prevention of child abuse. The majority of funds- 80 percent- will stay in our community to fund the incredible work being done by Olive Crest.
The remaining 20 percent will go to Prevent Child Abuse America- the leading advocate for preventing child abuse and neglect among our nation’s children since 1972.
Ticket Includes: Participation in the Run/Walk, Shamrock T-Shirt (No Show, No Shirt), One Free Raffle Ticket, foster family speakers from Olive Crest, live entertainment, numerous vendors, games, and more! Our event is also pet friendly.
Packet Pick Up Details: There will be two early registration opportunities at the Kappa Delta Sorority House (5066 College Avenue San Diego, CA 92115) on Friday, March 1st from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm and Saturday, March 2nd from 11:00 am- 3:00 pm. On March 3rd, early bird registration: begins at 7:30 am. Registration will continue through 8:00 am, and the run/walk will begin at 8:30 am!
