There's no smoking allowed on the magic bus. The Who front man Roger Daltrey made that abundantly clear at the band's sold-out Madison Square Garden concert Monday evening.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer took a moment during the show to wag his finger at some weed smokers near the front of the stage, telling them he can't abide the smoke. Really.
"All the ones smoking grass down in the front there, I'm totally allergic to it," Daltrey said, while looking out into the arena's lower bowl.
As the crowd chuckled, Daltrey doubled-down: "I'm not kidding."
"Whoever it is down there, you f---ed my night and you made me really ... I'm allergic to that s--t and my voice just goes ..." he added. "It sucks up. So f--k you!"
You can watch video of the incident above.
Other footage from the concert Monday does not appear to show Daltrey struggling at all with his voice.
Daltrey has called out marijuana users at his shows in the past.
Stereogum notes that in 2015, the front man singled out a fan smoking a joint at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum, telling the audience member to "stick it up your f---ing a--."
