A 6,000 gallon tanker carrying ethanol overturned in Mission Valley which caused a hazmat response.
The tanker overturned near the intersection of Mission Road and Rancho Mission Road near SDCCU yesterday afternoon.
Hazmat crews worked late into the night to stop the ethanol from leaking into the San Diego River. firefighters had to drill a hole into the tanker and then attach a hose to the vacuum truck to suck the ethanol out.
