As legend has it, Julian is the inspiration behind Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and Hey Jude. For many years, John and Paul were asked if Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was about LSD. Somewhere down the line, they said Julian drew a picture and he called it Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. True story or great spin? Hey Jude is Paul's song to Julian telling him everything will be okay when his mom Cynthia split up with John.
