7 San Diego County hospitals are getting recognized in a new 2023 rankings list of the World's Best Hospitals.
According to a joint ranking by Newsweek and Statista, a total of 40 California hospitals made the cut.
2,300 hospitals in 80 countries were surveyed on several criteria, including an online survey from medical experts, results from patient surveys, hospital quality metrics, and a patient-reported outcome measures implementation survey.
Newsweek says each hospital on the list “consistently attract the best people and provide the best outcomes for patients as well as the most important new therapies and research.”
