Sweet, Shepherd Mix Dog Needs A Loving Home

Bellwether is our pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 3 year old, 60 pound, female, Shepherd mix.

Bellwether was a stray in Riverside County. When she was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society her fur was infested with more than 600 foxtails. She was shaved then had several surgeries to remove the foxtails under her skin. Now she’s happy and healthy and ready to begin her new life.

The $145 adoption fee for Bellwether includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services. Nick Adamo is a huge dog lover and animal advocate. He started partnering with Rancho Coastal Humane Society two years ago because RCHS’ main goal is to encourage adoption of animals into permanent, loving homes. RCHS’ adoption process is tailored to find the best match between people and pets and also promote humane ideals through education and community outreach pets and people. Nick is proud to support Rancho Coastal Humane Society and all that they do for animals.
