Adventurous 2-Year Old Pup Needs A New Home!

Adopt Calypso

Adopt a pet in San Diego: Rescue dogs and cats up for adoption are featured in partnership with the Rancho Coastal Humane Society animal shelter.

Calypso is an adventurous 2 year old, 9-1/2 pound, female, Miniature Poodle mix who needs a home.

Calypso was found as a stray in Imperial County then taken to a rescue group. After that she was transferred to RCHS through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program. She was adopted by an older lady, then discovered a hole in the fence and escaped. Calypso needs a home where she can settle in and learn her new lifestyle. She might like having some gentle kids or another dog to play with.

As part of our weekly PET ADOPTION WEEKLY SEGMENT (PAWS), we're hoping you or someone you know will be interested in making Calypsio a part of the family.  Learn more about Calypso.  PAWS is brought to you by Nick Adamo’s Farmer’s Insurance Agency.

The $145 adoption fee for Calypso includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day except Tuesday.

Nick Adamo is a huge dog lover and animal advocate. He started partnering with Rancho Coastal Humane Society two years ago because RCHS’ main goal is to encourage adoption of animals into permanent, loving homes. RCHS’ adoption process is tailored to find the best match between people and pets and also promote humane ideals through education and community outreach pets and people. Nick is proud to support Rancho Coastal Humane Society and all that they do for animals.
