Big Lovable Lap Dog Is Looking For New Home in San Diego

Pheobe

This girl's a hugger!  Meet Phoebe, a 4-year-old Hound / Shepherd mix who will melt your heart. She’s one of the dogs who arrived on a Wings of Rescue flight from Arkansas. She was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program. Phoebe loves to hug! When she got off the plane, the first thing she did was stand on her hind legs, put her paws around the first person she met, and hug. If you sit down, Phoebe will sit on your lap and hug you.

As part of our weekly PET ADOPTION WEEKLY SEGMENT (PAWS), we're hoping you or someone you know will be interested in making Phoebe a part of the family.  Learn more about Phoebe.  PAWS is brought to you by Nick Adamo’s Farmer’s Insurance Agency.

The $145 adoption fee for Phoebe includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day except Tuesday.

Nick Adamo is a huge dog lover and animal advocate. He started partnering with Rancho Coastal Humane Society two years ago because RCHS’ main goal is to encourage adoption of animals into permanent, loving homes. RCHS’ adoption process is tailored to find the best match between people and pets and also promote humane ideals through education and community outreach pets and people. Nick is proud to support Rancho Coastal Humane Society and all that they do for animals.
