After the incident searches for 'volunteer' definition spiked 1900% on Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary. The interest in the true definition comes from this statement the company made Monday morning: “After our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate.”
