Hello everyone!
For the month of August, we thought it could be both fun and environmentally friendly to have a #picturepartay at the beach! This meetup will be a mixture of beach cleanup and photography! To encourage everyone to participate, those who collect large amounts of trash will have the chance to win authentic film cameras or other prizes. We will split into groups as usual to shoot together and network, the groups will be of 4-6 individuals and you will be competing against other teams to collect the most trash throughout our time together. You can have a chance to win other prizes by incorporating trash into the photography captured at the event and by tagging us on the work.
This event will begin at 3:30 pm giving enough time for latecomers to arrive. We will give further instructions at 3:30 when we are all there. From there we will number off, split off, and shoot for about an hour and a half. During this time you will be asked to look out for and collect trash, the group that collects the most trash will enter a raffle among each other to see who wins a camera, gift cards, or merch. At 5:30 we will split off one last time and only create in those groups until 7:00pm when we return for a Free For All, where you can collaborate with those you did not have a chance to work with at the beginning.
Our beaches could use a nice cleaning, so help us have a beautiful summer!
