A Kentucky couple visiting Florida this week has vowed to steer clear of the ocean in the future after coming face-to-face with a great white shark.
Adison Wildharber, 22, and Taylor Smith, 21, were on a rental boat off the coast of Panama City when they decided to take a swim, they say. After a few minutes in the water, they noticed a large fin heading their way -- right around the time they realized they'd about 70 yards from their boat, Smith says. "Our first reaction was we froze," she says. "We both sat there and didn't do anything. After it went under the water, we were just scared to move. We waited there for a little bit to see if it would keep going, then headed back to the boat."
