A doorbell camera captured a sweet moment between a Jamul family and a pair of good Samaritans earlier this month.

According to KGTV, earlier that day, Rachel Kitchin's 23-year-old son Parker lost his wallet. The recent SDSU graduate had lunch with his girlfriend at Liberty Station and it wasn't until he was driving home that he realized his wallet was missing.

“I was pretty upset, and I was feeling really stressed out,” said Parker.

While losing a wallet is always a pain, his wallet had more money and important documents than usual.

His lost wallet was holding his driver's license, credit cards, his Social Security because he was about to start a new job, $600 in cash, and a hundred dollars worth of gift cards.

“Devastating, absolutely devastating. His whole future was in that wallet,” Kitchin told KGTV.

After Parker returned to the restaurant and found nothing, he headed over to a police station to file a report.

As he was filing his report, his mother opened the door for Alicia Lyons and her husband who had Parker's wallet.

“Stop it! … I literally want to cry right now,“ Kitchin exclaims in the footage, as she hugs the strangers.

Lyons said they found the wallet under a chair and upon looking at the driver's license they realized Parker only lived a few minutes from their own home and decided to return the wallet personally.

“I was overjoyed. Really, how often do you get to help out someone in a pinch?” she said.

According to KGTV, Rachel offered a hundred-dollar reward to the Lyons family.
