A fun, new, socially distanced activity is coming to America's Finest City this September. Australian company, Beyond Cinema, has developed a cinema experience that allows guests to view movies from a mini-boat that holds up to eight people. The number of mini-boats will vary to ensure proper social-distancing, with anywhere from 12 to 24 per location.

Beyond Cinema is touring the U.S. with their aquatic cinemas this summer, and will be making their way to San Diego from September 16 to 20, 2020. The exact location and screening list has not been released, but the company says films will be a mixture of new releases and classic, golden oldies.

Attendees will be required to reserve and entire boat (no matter how many guests they have) to ensure that friends and family will be seated together. Attendees will enjoy complimentary popcorn, and other movie snacks when they reserve a boat and drinks will be available for purchase before the boats leave dock.
