LISTEN: Jon Anderson Talks About His New Solo Album "1000 Hands"

Jon Anderson...legendary singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee...and a guy we all know very well from his time in Yes, called in this week to talk about his new solo album "1000 Hands" which is out now!

He started working on the record back in 1990, then went out on tour and life kinda took over, and the tapes ended up in a box in his garage. Fast-forward to 2018 when producer Michael Franklin called Anderson and asked if he still had the tapes, and they got back to work on it!

About two-thirds of the album is from the original recordings, and the song "First Born Leaders" features the late Chris Squire. Steve Howe, Ian Anderson, Billy Cobham, Steve Morse, Rick Derringer, Jonathan Cain, and the Tower of Power Horns are among those who were enlisted to help finished it.

This is only Chapter 1, and Anderson has already started working on Chapter 2 and hopes to release it soon. Musically, lyrically, and production-wise, the album is top notch. If you're a fan of Yes, you will definitely enjoy it.
