Here are some of the things we learned today on The DSC Show on KGB.

Today is the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Celebrations are going on between two presidents, of the US and of France. Dave says it’s gotta be tough being a German on this anniversary.

A Life photographer named Capa was under water in Normandy on D-Day where he held his camera above water and shot a ton of pics, but only eleven came out. They are referred to as "The Magnificent Eleven" and you can see them here.

Metallica performed the National Anthem before game three in the NBA Finals last night in Oakland between the Warriors and the Toronto Raptors. Watch them rock out in the video here.

Jimmy Kimmel's ‘Man on the Street’ asked some Canadians to trash talk the Golden State Warriors. They're so nice - they just couldn't do it and it's hilarious to watch. Check out the video here.

Twenty years ago A-Rod was asked who his dream date would be? He immediately answered - Jennifer Lopez. And here they are, twenty years later, engaged to be married. Congrats to them.

Former Boston Celtic great, Paul Pierce admitted he pooped his pants during the finals with the LA Lakers in 2008! He was wearing a white uniform at the time and it had already started, so he faked an injury “needing” to be taken out in a wheelchair. The wheelchair helped hide the growing stain on his shorts. You can relive the entire experience in the video here. Celtics won the series too, by the way.

Tupac Shakur broke up with Madonna - while he was in prison! Let that fact sink in. He wrote her a 'Dear John' letter explaining that he really liked her a lot, but couldn't stay with her because she's white. You can read most of the letter here. Madonna lost the letter while she was moving in 2004 and someone found it, then consigned it to an online auction house. She filed a lawsuit trying to get it back, but lost on appeal. Now she faces many of her personal items going up for auction to the public.

That led Dave to ask the question; what’s the most irritating kids character of all time?

• Ruth can’t stand Barney the purple dinosaur.
• Chainsaw and Boyer hate the Teletubbies.
• Sarah loathes Caillou.
• Emily couldn’t think of anyone she hates - yet.
• Dave hated the puppets who didn’t speak English, plus the characters who were constantly screaming - like Rugrats.

We had to address and answer two important questions today.

Why is Boyer mad at Emily’s husband?

Emily's niece is coming for a visit, so Emily needs some help fixing up a bike for her to use. She asked for help on her social media accounts. Everyone was very helpful with suggestions of where to have the work done …. except for one grumpy old man. Chris Boyer said, "you have a man in your life. Why don’t you get him to fix it? You’ll spend more at a bike shop then doing it yourself. If he’s a REAL man, he’ll handle it for you." When Dave broke it down, we figured it would cost Emily $62 to do it at home - IF she didn’t screw up anything else and did it half-assed. But if she took it to a bike shop it would probably cost around $75. So WTF, take it o a shop and get it done right and quit judging her husband!

Why is Emily a great big idiot?

Her husband Eric’s parents are coming from Brazil to San Diego today. Emily went all the way to UTC to buy gifts for them last night. Then she drove all the way to Carmel Mtn to buy two hydro flasks. But as soon as she got home and opened the car door - one of the flasks fell out and scraped the paint off of it. It was a fancy, ombre flask too. Dave was freaking out that she went shopping at night, bought them gifts and even more freaked out that she would allow them to stay at her house, rather than get a hotel room. Chainsaw was also horrified by the idea of them staying with her. Neither Chainsaw or Dave feel comfortable staying at anyone's house nor do they enjoy having family stay at theirs.
