Join the Headstrong Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for our first annual fundraiser in support of cost-free and stigma-free mental health care for post-9/11 military veterans and their families right here in San Diego.

This special and fun evening will feature hosted cocktails, local craft beer, live entertainment, and delicious food from some of the area's top chefs, including:

Brian Malarkey, Herb & Wood:

Chef Brian Malarkey has created more than a dozen wildly successful restaurants across the United States including Herb & Wood, his newest concept in San Diego’s buzzing gastronomic neighborhood of Little Italy, which Zagat named one of 2016’s biggest restaurant openings and the San Diego Union-Tribune is calling, “the most thoughtful, exquisitely executed, stylish restaurant of the year.”

Jason Gethin, Farmer & the Seahorse

Jason McLeod, Ironside Fish & Oyster:

In 2009 as the opening executive chef of RIA in Chicago’s 5-Star Elysian Hotel, McLeod led a luxurious seafood-driven restaurant from being relatively unknown, to receiving two Michelin stars during its first year of operation—an honor that only two other restaurants in Chicago (Charlie Trotter’s and Avenues) were awarded that year.

JoJo Ruiz, Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine:

Chef JoJo’s unrivaled dedication to his craft has marked him one of the nation’s top fifty “Young Guns” illustrating “the most promising up-and-coming talent in the national restaurant industry” by Eater National in 2015. Prior to joining Clique Hospitality as Lionfish Chef/Partner, JoJo spent two and a half years as the Chef de Cuisine at Little Italy’s Acclaimed Ironside Fish and Oyster under Michelin-starred Chef Jason McLeod.
