Have you ever encountered a situation of discrimination? Are you on Social Security benefits but would like to work? Have you ever wondered what rights are provided to disabled individuals? This workshop is for you!
This workshop is open to visually impaired individuals and their families to learn about the various rights that disabled individuals should be aware of. An attorney from Disability Rights California (DRC) will provide a training on discrimination. An advocate from Work Incentive & Planning Assistance (WIPA) will inform you on changes to your benefits when you start working.
