A man took an armored personnel carrier from a National Guard base in Virginia on Tuesday and then took the vehicle on a two-hour drive that resulted in a police pursuit throughout downtown Richmond, the state capital. Law enforcement tased the suspect, who was identified as a military soldier, Virginia State Police spokeswoman Keeli Hill stated in a news conference. No crashes or injuries happened at the time of the incident .
