The San Diego River flows 52 miles from the mountains to the ocean, with plenty of recreation and sightseeing opportunities along the way!

The San Diego River Park Foundation works along the entire River. Our work includes land conservation and habitat restoration activities near Alpine and Descanso. And you can get involved!

Join San Diego River Park Foundation staff for an interactive presentation on the San Diego River, habitat restoration science, and volunteer opportunities in the River headwaters.

This is your chance to learn about our native habitat and the work that is being done to protect it. Join us at the Alpine Library, 1752 Alpine Blvd, Alpine, CA 91901.
