Get your running shoes ready for the 17th annual Thanksgiving Run for the Hungry 5K & 10K!
The scenic 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) run/walk takes place in the heart of downtown San Diego. Starting at Broadway Circle in front of Westfield Horton Plaza, the course goes through East Village and the Historic Gaslamp Quarter.
Create a team or participate as an individual!
Want your dog to join you Thanksgiving morning for a brisk, morning walk or run? Register them! Dogs cost $12 to register, which includes a one-of-a-kind Run for the Hungry bandana.
The 10K starts at 7 a.m., and the 5K starts at 8:15 a.m. The early start times ensure that runners finish with plenty of time to return home and prepare Thanksgiving dinner.
Proceeds from this family-friendly event benefit the hunger-relief programs of the San Diego Food Bank.
