Join us on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 for North County's largest dog walk: the Walk for Animals - North County, a 2-mile walk at Kit Carson Park.
You and your canine companions will have a great time as we celebrate our love for animals, while raising vital funds for San Diego Humane Society.
Fees:$40 - Adults (ages 18+)$20 - Children (ages 17 and under)$10 - Cat Nappers (Individuals who are raising funds but not attending)
Schedule of Events:7 a.m. -- Registration, pancake breakfast, entertainment8:30 a.m. -- Blessing of the Animals8:45 a.m. -- Warm up9 a.m. -- Walk begins10:15 a.m. -- Dog Activities and Vendor Village continue until noon
Information:- All registered participants will receive a commemorative Walk for Animals T-shirt! T-shirts for Cat Nappers will be mailed after the event.- Walkers who register before Friday, Feb. 9 will receive a Registered Walker Packet in the mail that includes a donation envelope, a bib number, and a ticket to the pancake breakfast.- Walkers who register on or after Friday, Feb. 9 can pick up their packets at San Diego Humane Society's Escondido Campus, located at 3450 E. Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92027. Packets will be available for pick-up pick up Monday, Feb. 19- Friday, Feb. 23 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. or on Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Walk for Animals - North County starting at 7 a.m.- Online registration closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb, 23, 2018.- Onsite event registration will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at Kit Carson Park in Escondido.
