Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael E. Cruz, a 2007 Mira Mesa High School graduate and San Diego native, was named Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) - Installation Sailor of the Quarter. Selection was based on the individual's exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, teamwork ethic, personal achievements and record of supporting and serving the community.
