Steve Cohen has designed everyone's stage lighting and now he picks up a brush.
Steve figured out mid-interview that is has been 44 years to the day that Billy Joel hired him and it was then that his career as a lighting designer kicked off. But now he has turned to another visual art...painting.
He has been painting for 14 years and he is bringing his solo exhibition to the West Coast Nov. 8th - Nov. 18th. The exhibition is being displayed at Eric Buterbaugh Gallery in West Hollywood and features three of Steve's distinct styles of work: Soviet Series, Drip Series, and the Assembly Series.
