Second Saturdays every odd-numbered month are regular cleanup events at the Village H North Trail. Volunteer with Preserve Calavera and fellow neighbors to make positive impacts in your community and socialize in an inviting and scenic restoration site with views of the San Jacinto and San Gabriel mountain ranges.
Get outdoors, give back, and earn community service hours while you help to maintain the health and continued success of this open space’s chaparral/ coastal sage scrub restoration site by removing harmful eucalyptus debris, trash, and invasive plants.
Event is appropriate for all ages and physical abilities.
Please bring: Water and a rake (if available). Wear protective clothing and sturdy, closed-toed shoes.
Meet at: Trailhead off of Carlsbad Village Drive, west of Victoria Avenue.
Directions: Parking available at corner of Carlsbad Village Drive and Victoria Avenue. We will meet at the trailhead, which can be reached by crossing the lighted pedestrian walkway across Carlsbad Village Drive and heading north.
Please RSVP to: Samantha Collins: sami@sdcanyonlands.org or call (619) 920-9134
