Fresh off a pair of high-energy Coachella sets, Billie Eilish trekked to New Zealand and Australia for a handful of shows Down Under before returning to the States for a sold out North American tour. On Tuesday (April 23), the anti-pop star landed in Auckland Airport and was surprised by a very special welcome. When she de-boarded the plane, she was greeted by New Zealand's Hātea Kapa Haka group, which treated her to a Pōwhiri + Waiata of her own haunting hit, "when the party’s over." Stunned, the 17-year-old was overcome with emotion. She covered her mouth with her hand as she watched the beautiful performance, and tears glistened in her eyes.
