Larry King suffered a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest on Thursday (April 25), TMZ reported. Thankfully, the iconic 85-year-old television host is doing okay and currently on-the-mend.

Insiders close to the situation revealed that the longtime talk show host had been having issues breathing for months and was scheduled to check himself into a hospital that very say day for angiogram. As he was getting ready to go to the facility, King went into cardiac arrest. Soon after, he was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where doctors performed an angioplasty to open up an artery that had collapsed and insert several stents. As per the celebrity gossip outlet, King was put in the cardiac intensive care unit and is expected to be released later today.

In the last six months, King has been seeing professionals regarding his breathing issues, but none of them had diagnosed the severity of his condition. While he has experienced heart issues for the last 30 years, even with two heart attacks, he has always remained positive.
