The Chula Vista American Little League DSC Yankees Majors won their Championship game Saturday against the Cubs 13-3, ending the season with a 13-4 record!
Our own Shane Miranda won the Strikeout King Of The League and was voted by all of the kids in the Majors as Sportsman Of The Year in the entire league!
Next up, the DSC Yankees go onto the week long TOC Tournament where they take all of the other first place teams from the other leagues.
We couldn't be more proud of these boys and their incredible efforts put forth this season, not only on the field but off as well. An all around stand out group of young men who proved that victory tastes so much sweeter when earned with hard work and determination! Thank you boys for letting us be part of your support team this season and good luck in the TOC Tournament! GO YANKEES!
