Volunteer Open House by The Escondido Creek Conservancy on Saturday 1/18

Do you love nature? Are you ready to give back?

Join us at the Elfin Forest Interpretive Center (IC) to learn about the unique volunteer opportunities at the IC, on the trails, and beyond! We'll begin with a brief presentation at 10:00 am and you'll be free after to tour the IC, explore the lower creek trail, and meet other volunteers who are part of our program.

What makes our volunteer programs specials?

Join our group of nature lovers and participate in docent bbq's, bimonthly in-services with guest speakers, and field trips to local landmarks.

What volunteer opportunities are available?

We have volunteer opportunities for everyone. Educate visitors at the IC as a Docent, hike and monitor our local trails as a Trail Patrol volunteers, or help with restoration projects as a part of Shrub Club. Volunteers are asked to pass a background check and participate a minimum of three hours a month. Trail Patrol volunteers are also asked to contribute a $40 fee for uniform ($20 of which is refundable). Come to the open house and find out more!
