Smashing Pumpkins kicked off their 2024 tour over the weekend in Birmingham, England, marking their first show with new touring guitarist Kiki Wong. Though the performance was in support of Weezer on their European tour, the band still managed a 25-song set that included their first ever live cover of U2's "Zoo Station."
Billy Corgan and company played plenty of hits; however, they also sprinkled in some rarities including the first performances of “Thru the Eyes of Ruby” since 2015 and “Panopticon” since 2013, as well as “Gossamer” and “Birch Grove.”
The band will continue touring Europe with Weezer before heading back to North America to support Green Day on their Saviors tour and play a headlining tour throughout the country this summer. Watch fan-shot footage of Wong in action (including a stream of the whole set) and check out Smashing Pumpkins' full setlist below.
