Polly, or Polly Potato, as her foster mom affectionately calls her, came to The Rescued Dog from the Human Society of Imperial County. Polly was not in great health and needed some medical attention for some growths on her tummy. Thankfully, The Rescued Dog was able to get her the care that she needed and the growths have been removed and were not cancerous.
Polly is now in perfect health and ready for her forever family, but for some inexplicable reason, she hasn't had a single person fill out an adoption application for a very long time! It's been a real struggle trying to find her a loving family.
This little doll is about 6 years old and weighs in at around 8 pounds. She walks very nicely on the leash. True to her loving and loyal personality, she stays right by your side on a walk. She's friendly with other people and dogs she meets out on walks. Polly's foster mom reports that she is extremely affectionate and wants to be wherever her human is. She is crate trained, but is trustworthy at home without being crated. Polly is full of tricks, including catching treats out of the air. This little nugget of love is big on personality! Polly gets along great with other dogs and is a gentle, sweet, go-anywhere kind of gal.
