All different colors. One is black and white cow-pattern, one is a mixture of browns and a third, who is all black with white socks and nose. These puppies are currently 5 weeks of age, and as the law requires, will remain with their mother until they are 8 weeks of age, to ensure that they have a healthy immune system. Often people buy puppies from backyard breeders on Craigslist that are less than 8 weeks of age. This is extremely dangerous as the puppies have been removed from their mother much too early, and are susceptible to so many deadly diseases, like parvo and distemper. It's not cute.... it's dangerous! If you look at the video their mother appears to be some sort of basset hound mix, and that's about as much of the breed as they can guess. We like to call these purebred mystery mutts. If you would like to fill out an application go to nwtlb.org, but please consider the time and effort it takes to raise a puppy into a well-behaved dog. They are only puppies for a short time, and then they are dogs for the next 15 to 18 years. It's important that you have the time to house train them so that they are well-behaved indoors, and can be part of the family. It's also important to consider the cost of a puppy and raising it for the next dozen or more years. If you are ready for that kind of commitment then fill out an application. If a puppy seems like too much work for your busy schedule, as it is with many people, please consider adopting an adult dog. We have plenty of those, as well!
