Two San Diego Men Impounded Over 14,000 Scooters

Two San Diego men have impounded over 14,000 electric scooters they say have been left littered across the city and endangering pedestrians.

Electric scooters were supposed to make San Diego a greener and cleaner city. On the contrary, they've created a lot of tension and are the source of a brewing battle as some locals are getting fed up with people leaving them discarded in places that they claim are a nuisance and dangerous.

Two men took the initiative to create the company Scoot Scoop and has impounded approximately 14,000 scooters to date which they claim are illegally parked. Scooter companies are fighting back suing the company accusing them of unlawfully impounding their scooters and then demanding a ransom to get them returned.

What are your thoughts on the scooters?
