San Diego's popular coastal community Ocean Beach, is known for its laid-back vibe and grassroots businesses. But as residents, business-owners, and visitors adhere to state and county "Stay At Home" orders, photographer Jim Grant was able to capture rare photos of this vibrant and busy beach town, at rest.
During a walk near his home, James Grant took these photos of Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach. The once crowded streets filled with people walking, riding bikes, driving, shopping, and eating are now empty. It's an eerie looking Ocean Beach, but a great reminder of how beautiful this city is. Let's hope we all appreciate San Diego even more when the coronavirus crisis is over.
