Marnon: Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of the Week – 4-13-2023

Name:           Marnon

Age:               6-1/2-years

Weight:         14-pounds

Gender:        Male

Breed:           Chihuahua mix

Marnon is the i-Heart pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 6-1/2-year-old, 14-pound, male, Chihuahua mix.

Marnon was relinquished to a shelter in Riverside County because his owners could not provide shelter for him and their three other dogs. They were tied up in the back yard. He was transferred through FOCAS – Friends of County Animal Shelters.

He likes to sit on laps. If it’s okay, he will lick your face. He will probably do best in an adult-only home.

The $100 adoption fee for Marnon includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip.

·Earth Day includes adopting recycled pets rather than supporting puppy mills or backyard breeders that harm the environment.

·Pick up after your pets! For extra impact, use biodegradable poop bags.

·Spaying or neutering your pet will eliminate unwanted litters of kittens or puppies.

·     Ask your vet about safe options to control fleas and ticks.

You can also recycle used items or buy used items and support animals at the RCHS Thrift Shop at 120 Aberdeen Drive in Cardiff by the Sea.
