Toasty is the i-Heart pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 2-year-old, 57-pound, female, Hound mix.
Toasty was transferred from a shelter in the Imperial Valley through FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters.)
In her kennel, Toasty barks to get your attention. If you walk away, she whines to remind you to say Hello. Outside her kennel, Toasty is friendly, and she loves when people pet her.
Dog toys make her nervous. She likes kids who respect her space.
The $145 adoption fee for Toasty includes spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society. For more information visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas, call 760-753-6413, or log on to www.SDpets.org.
Open 11 to 4, Friday through Monday, and by appointment Wednesday and Thursday.
