I was browsing the internet and came across the picture below. The photo is of the San Diego Fire Department's first all-female engine company in the U.S.. The four-woman crew worked out of Engine Company 3 in San Diego. There is a couple reasons this photo caught my eye, the main reason is the woman in the driver seat is my future mother-in-law Lisa Blake. She is a retired fire captain and a bad ass woman! The other reason this photo caught my eye is because yesterday was International Womens Day and what a perfect picture to go along with that theme.
