For years, I've told you how much I love being a customer of Kearny Mesa Hyundai, one of the biggest reasons is for all of the ways they support our community with charitable efforts.
I’ve also mentioned they are members of the Sunroad Automotive Group and over the weekend, I got to do something really fun in partnership with Sunroad.
Earlier this year, all 11 dealerships in the Sunroad family teamed up to recognize unsung heroes in our community and honor their above and beyond efforts during the craziness of 2020.
On Saturday, it was my privilege to call Megan Lytle who was nominated by her husband Alex.
Precovid, Megan was a physical therapist working with underprivileged children with mental and physical disabilities. Then coronavirus came along, her facilities were shut down, and she received an email from the county looking for volunteers to take on 12 hour days, 7 days a week for two weeks.
Two weeks turned into six months, she’s still putting in 60-80 hour weeks, working on an emergency task force to keep our county stocked with ppe’s, managing test sites and so much more.
